1976 Olds Cutlass pro street - (built 1990)

Here's another one of my famous big winged pro street slammers! I built this one from a Johan '76 Olds Cutlass snap kit.

here's some of the modifications I added to the kit. The wing is scratch built. and the hood was modified with a molded ramp up to the injector scoop. I was going for a funny car sort of look. The paint is One Shot pinstriping enamel applied with an air brush over a white base. To get the torn paper look, I applied rubber cement over the white paint and selectively tore parts away and then used that as a mask to paint the pink.

While it's starting to look a little dated now, it was featured in Plastic Fanatic magazine and won best paint at a couple of contests back in it's day.
